iTEP- The International Test of English Proficiency was founded in 2002 to address the needs of the international education community.

The test was first launched in 2008 for colleges, universities, and international programs. Versions for secondary schools and business use were soon added followed by English tests for specific industries such as hospitality and au pair.

The test has become popular worldwide and is helping organizations and students assess English language proficiency. The product ranges from iTEP SLATE, iTEP Business, iTEP Hospitality to name a few.
